This Wednesday = Prayer Emphasis Night!

This Wednesday night there will be an emphasis on prayer. It's the one of the main messages of our meditation passage, Hebrews 4:14-16, and is something believers don't do enough of. Someone once said "Prayer can never be in excess." Come ready this Wednesday to discuss our passage, and spend some time talking with your Heavenly Father! 

Helpful Hints to Meditate on our Hebrews 4:14-16 passage for this coming Wednesday:
Picture it - Visualize the scene in your mind.
Pronounce it - Say the verse aloud, each time emphasizing a different word.
Paraphrase it - Rewrite the verse in your own words.
Personalize it - Replace pronouns or people in the verse with your own name.
Pray it - Turn the verse into a prayer and say it back to God.

HEBREWS 4:14-16

Our meditation verse for October 30th! Hebrews 4:14-16. Read it, study it, meditate (thoughtful deliberation) on it and we'll talk about it on October 30th! HEBREWS 4:14-16 - "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

180 YOUTH GROUP TONIGHT!!!!

OK, be honest, was this your re-action when you remembered there was youth group tonight? Haha. It should be!  Youth Group tonight starts at 7:00pm and goes to 8:00pm. Make that face, invite a friend, and we'll see you there!

Harvest Hayride

This Wednesday Night is the last Wednesday to sign up to bring an unsaved friend to Harvest Hayride. The sign up sheet will be on the back table in the youth building before and after youth group. If you do, or already have signed up let us encourage you for a moment to make sure you take your friend through the S.O.S. tent to hear the plan of salvation! What an amazing opportunity for them to hear about God's plan to save their souls! 

We'll be praying for you as you have the courage to invite your friends and then help them hear the gospel!

Also, if you haven't signed up to work please do so as well!

MOVIE NIGHT TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

The movie tonight will start around 7:15-7:30, but be there by 7:00 to get your seat set up and your popcorn in hand. Bring a lawn chair, bean bag, or a blanket to sit on if you don't want to sit on a metal chair! :) There will be plenty of snacks and drinks available, but eat dinner before you come. Someone asked if they could bring a friend....YES! PLEASE DO!

Outdoor Movie Night

Attention ALL teens!!! PLAN B is in effect for this Friday Night, October 11th. All teenagers are invited to come watch a movie in the cafeteria of the main building. We will be watching an awesome movie called "Cutback." The movie will start around 7:15-7:30, but be there by 7:00 to get your seat set up. Bring a lawn chair, bean bag, or a blanket to sit on. There will be plenty of popcorn and drinks available, but eat dinner before you come. Invite your friends and we'll see ya then!
